For tutoring academies & test prep
Grade More Past Papers Without Adding More Marking Hours
Upload entire classes of handwritten or digital student work, mark against Cambridge or Edexcel schemes, and track how each student is progressing.
A tuition centre's ceiling is marking time. Every extra past paper you set is another evening of red pen, so papers get set less often than students need them. AIDE AI takes the whole class at once, marks each script against the exam-board scheme, and hands the marked set back for a tutor to review — so the number of papers a cohort attempts stops being a function of how many hours your tutors have left.
How it works
Upload the whole class
Scan or photograph the batch and upload it in one go — handwritten scripts, typed answers or a mixed pile.
AIDE marks against the scheme
Each answer is evaluated against the Cambridge or Edexcel mark scheme for that paper, question by question.
A tutor reviews and approves
Every mark and comment is a draft until a tutor accepts it. Nothing reaches a student without a human decision.
Track each student over time
Per-student results build a picture across papers, so you can see who is improving and where a cohort keeps losing marks.
Bulk grading, one upload
A full cohort's scripts go up together rather than one student at a time — the difference between a task you schedule and a task you avoid.
Past-paper workflow
Generate annual or topical papers from the question bank, or upload the paper and mark scheme you are already using.
Handwriting, not just typing
Students keep writing on paper the way they will in the exam. See how handwritten grading works in detail.
Tutor review before release
AI drafts the mark and the feedback; the tutor edits or overrides anything and decides when results go out.
Per-student progress
Results accumulate per student across papers, so a weak topic shows up as a pattern rather than a one-off bad day.
Consistent marking
The same scheme applied the same way to every script, including the fiftieth one marked at 11pm.
Questions people ask
- Can AIDE AI grade an entire class at once?
- Yes. Upload the whole batch of scripts in one go and AIDE marks each one against the mark scheme for that paper. You do not submit students one at a time.
- Can it mark handwritten answers?
- Yes. Scanned papers, PDFs and photographs of handwritten work are all supported, so students can keep practising on paper exactly as they will sit the exam.
- Can a tutor change an AI-generated grade?
- Always. Every mark and every comment is a draft. A tutor reviews the marked script, edits or overrides anything, and approves it before it counts.
- Do results reach students automatically?
- No. Results are released only when a tutor approves them, so nothing a student sees has gone out unreviewed.
- Which exam boards and subjects are supported?
- Cambridge IGCSE and O/A-Level and Edexcel, across ten or more subjects and growing. If you work with a specific paper, ask us before you commit.
- Can we try it before paying?
- Yes. The free plan includes 50 pages of AI marking, with no credit card, which is enough to run a real class set through and judge the marking for yourself.
