Terms of Service

Welcome to Aide AI ("we," "our," "us"). By accessing or using our platform, website, mobile application, or related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before using our Services. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our Services.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) to use Aide AI. If you are under 18, you may use the Services only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Aide AI provides tools for:

• AI-assisted homework and assessment creation
• Teacher and student portals for assignment management
• AI-powered grading and feedback
• Secure online testing with anti-cheating measures
• Educational analytics for teachers and institutions

We may update, modify, or discontinue any part of the Services at our discretion without prior notice.

• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.
• Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information when registering or using the Services.
• Prohibited Use: You agree not to use the Services for any unlawful purpose, to infringe on intellectual property rights, or to distribute harmful or malicious content.

• Some features of Aide AI may require a paid subscription. Pricing and payment terms will be provided at the time of purchase.
• All payments are non-refundable unless required by law.
• We may change subscription fees with prior notice.

Aide AI runs a referral programme that can reward you with credits and, for teachers, a cash commission. It is governed by the Referral Programme Terms at learningaide.ai/referral-terms, which form part of these Terms. In short:

• Nothing is earned on a signup alone. Every reward requires the person you referred to verify their email and complete a real evaluation.
• Referral credits expire 3 months after they are issued. They can be spent on Aide AI but cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Teachers can earn a cash commission of 15% of what a person they referred pays, for 12 months from that person's signup date. It stops at 12 months — no reduced rate afterwards, no extension.
• Teachers may earn that commission on payments made by students they referred, including students under 18. It is paid out of Aide AI's own revenue and never increases the price a student or their family pays.
• A commission balance can be converted to credits instantly at the standard top-up rate, or withdrawn as cash once the balance reaches PKR 5,000 across the account. Cash withdrawals are paid after applicable deductions, including any taxes or withholding required by law. Converting to credits is not subject to deductions.
• You earn only from people you refer directly, never from their referrals. A referral code must be applied at signup and cannot be changed or added later.
• Aide AI may claw back credits and cash where fraud or abuse is detected, and that determination is at Aide AI's discretion.
• Aide AI may change or end the programme. Changes apply to new referrals only and are never applied retroactively to referrals already made.

• All software, content, and materials provided through Aide AI are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services solely for educational purposes.
• You may not reverse-engineer, modify, or redistribute any part of the Services without our written consent.

• You retain ownership of any content you upload or create using our Services.
• By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, display, and process it solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Services.

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Services, you consent to the collection and use of data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

• The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
• We do not guarantee that the Services will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.
• AI-generated responses and evaluations may not always be accurate and should be used as a learning aid, not a substitute for professional judgment.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aide AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms or misuse the Services.

These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of [Insert Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict of law principles.
