Referral Programme Terms
The rules for inviting people to Aide AI, in plain language: what you earn, when you earn it, when it expires, and how cash payouts work.

How the Referral Programme Works
The Aide AI referral programme rewards you for inviting people who go on to actually use the platform. These terms form part of our Terms of Service. Where the two differ on anything to do with referrals, these terms are the ones that apply.
There are three ways to refer someone:
- A teacher invites another teacher.
- A teacher invites a student.
- A student invites another student.
Rewards come in two forms. Everyone can earn credits — the balance you spend inside Aide AI. Teachers can also earn a cash commission. Students do not earn cash under this programme.
The programme is single-tier. You earn from the people you invite directly, and from nobody else. If someone you referred goes on to refer their own friends, those referrals belong to them — you earn nothing from them.
What Counts as a Successful Referral
Signing up is not enough. Nothing at all is earned on a signup alone.
A referral only becomes successful — and only then is any reward issued — once the person you referred has done both of these:
- Verified their email address.
- Completed a real evaluation on Aide AI. That means genuinely marking or attempting work on the platform, not just creating an account and leaving it.
Both are required. Until both have happened the referral stays pending, and no credits and no commission are issued for it.
A referral code has to be applied at signup. It cannot be added afterwards and it cannot be changed later — including by our support team. One account can only ever be linked to one referrer, and that link is fixed at the moment they sign up.
Referral Credits and When They Expire
Credits are what you spend inside Aide AI. Referral credits work like credits you would buy, with one difference that matters: they expire.
- Referral credits expire 3 months after they are issued to you. The clock starts when the credits land in your account — not when anyone signed up, and not when you first spend them.
- Each batch of credits carries its own expiry date, so credits from a referral in March and credits from a referral in May expire at different times.
- Where you hold credits with different expiry dates, we use the ones expiring soonest first, so you get the most out of them.
- Once credits expire they cannot be restored, extended or exchanged.
- Credits are spent on Aide AI. They cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred to another account, or refunded.
How many credits a particular referral earns is shown to you in the app at the time, for both you and the person you referred. Those amounts can change — see Changes to the Programme below.
Teacher Cash Commission
Teachers — and only teachers — can also earn a cash commission on the people they refer.
- The commission is 15% of what a person you referred pays Aide AI.
- It runs for 12 months, counted from the date that person signed up — not from the date they first paid.
- At 12 months it stops completely. There is no reduced rate afterwards, no tapering down and no extension. A payment they make in month 13 earns you nothing.
- Commission is earned only on payments that actually complete. If a payment is later refunded, reversed or charged back, the commission earned on it is reversed too.
- Commission builds up as a balance on your account. It is not paid out automatically — see Your Commission Balance below.
The 15% rate and the 12-month window are the terms in force today. We may change them for future referrals, but a referral you have already made keeps the terms that applied when you made it.
What Parents and Guardians Should Know
We would rather state this plainly than bury it: a teacher can earn a cash commission on payments made by a student they referred to Aide AI. Many Aide AI students are under 18, so parents, guardians and schools should know this up front.
- The commission is 15% of what the student pays, for 12 months from the date the student signed up.
- It is paid by Aide AI out of its own revenue. It is not an added charge and it does not increase the price a student or their family pays — the price is exactly the same whether or not a teacher referred them.
- It has no effect on a student's marks, feedback or grading. Grading does not know, and cannot know, who referred whom.
- If you are under 18, you should only sign up and pay with a parent or guardian involved, as our Terms of Service require.
If you have a question or a concern about a referral on your child's account — including asking us who it is linked to — contact us at hello@learningaide.ai and we will look into it.
Your Commission Balance: Two Ways to Use It
Commission accrues as a balance on your account. There are exactly two things you can do with it, and the choice is yours.
1. Convert it to credits — instantly
- You can convert any part of your balance into Aide AI credits at any time. There is no minimum and no waiting.
- Conversion uses our standard top-up rate — the same rate you would pay buying credits with cash. The rate in force is shown to you before you confirm.
- Converting is not subject to any deductions. You get the full value of what you convert.
- Any expiry that applies to the converted credits is shown to you before you confirm. Once converted, credits cannot be turned back into cash.
2. Withdraw it as cash — once you reach PKR 5,000
- You can request a cash withdrawal once your commission balance reaches PKR 5,000.
- That PKR 5,000 is an account total, added up across everyone you referred. It is not a per-referral figure — you do not need PKR 5,000 from any single person.
- Withdrawal requests are reviewed before they are paid. We may ask you to confirm your identity and your payment details first.
- Cash withdrawals are paid after deductions. The next section explains exactly what that means.
Cash Payouts Are Made After Deductions
Read this before you request cash, so there are no surprises later.
Cash withdrawals are paid to you after applicable deductions. That includes any tax, withholding, levy or duty we are required by law to deduct, and any bank or payment-provider charge for making the transfer. The amount that reaches you is the net amount, not the balance you requested.
- Every withdrawal shows you three figures: the gross amount you requested, the deductions applied to it, and the net amount you will actually receive.
- We do not quote a fixed rate or percentage here on purpose. What gets deducted depends on the law in force at the time, on where you are, and on your own tax status — and any of those can change. The figures that apply to your withdrawal are shown on that withdrawal.
- Converting your balance to credits instead is not subject to any deductions. Deductions apply to cash payouts only.
- Amounts we deduct and pay on your behalf remain yours to account for in your own tax filings. Aide AI cannot give tax advice — if you are unsure, speak to a qualified adviser.
Where the law requires us to report a payment to a tax authority, or to hold information such as a tax registration number before we can pay you, we will tell you what we need. The payout waits until we have it.
Fair Use, Fraud and Clawback
The programme is here to reward genuine recommendations. It is not a way to manufacture accounts. The following are not allowed:
- Referring yourself, including through a second email address or any account you control.
- Creating, or arranging for anyone else to create, accounts that are not real users.
- Using automated tools, purchased lists or bulk sign-ups to inflate referral numbers.
- Spamming your code, or posting it in a way that misrepresents Aide AI or breaks another platform's rules.
- Pressuring a student or a family into signing up or paying so that you earn commission.
Where fraud or abuse of the programme is detected, Aide AI may withhold, cancel, reverse or claw back any credits and any cash connected to it — including credits already issued, commission already accrued and payouts already approved — and may remove you from the programme or suspend the account. Whether something amounts to fraud or abuse of the programme is determined by Aide AI at its discretion.
If a reversal takes your balance below zero, that negative amount is set against future commission before anything is paid out. If you believe we have got a decision wrong, contact us at hello@learningaide.ai and we will review it.
Changes to the Programme
- We may change the programme — reward amounts, the commission rate, the 12-month window, the withdrawal minimum, the credit expiry period — or end it entirely, at any time.
- Changes apply to new referrals only. They are never applied retroactively.
- A referral you have already made is governed by the terms in force at the moment you made it. If we lowered the commission rate tomorrow, referrals you made today would keep today's rate for the rest of their 12-month window.
- If we end the programme, credits already issued keep their existing expiry dates, and commission already accrued can still be converted or withdrawn under these terms.
